I wanted to take a minute to firstly congratulate Julie on 30 amazing years! What an achievement and although this year hasn’t allowed us to celebrate you and shower you with the celebration you deserve, know that this is a year none of us will forget.

Actually the past 2 years have thrown Julie it’s share of curve balls but her resilience and strength have seen her through them. I have been fortunate enough to be present for 25 of the 30 years Julie has owned and run JP dance and there is a very good reason why so many students spend a huge part of their life at JP. Not only are the classes fun, the routines are fabulous, costumes are stunning and the shows are entertaining but it’s the genuine care and concern that Julie has for each and every student that keeps people coming back. She only wants the best for each child and the show Julie put together today exemplifies this perfectly. You won’t find another dance teacher out there who would’ve pulled a show together 11 days after doing 2 concerts, for no other reason then to give 5 little girls an opportunity to dance.

I am incredibly grateful beyond words and I’m sure the other parents feel the exact same. We will never forget what Julie has given our daughters today. Thank you also to all the girls who took time out of their holidays at a busy time of year to support these girls; it wouldn’t be the same without their friends dancing beside them. And thank you to the audience who have come along to show your support, the girls, myself and Julie all appreciate it so much.

So congratulations on 3 shows and 30 years Julie and thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You are an incredible dance teacher, friend and human. I’ll be here for the next 25 years if you’re up for it!
